Oatmeal and Banana Bread



Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup packed brown sugar 
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 egg
1 1/2 cups mashed bananas (about 3 large)
1/3 cup canola oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup dried cranberries
2 tablespoons rolled oats for the topping

Directions

1. In a large bowl, mix together first six ingredients.
2. In another bowl, mix together egg, bananas, oil and vanilla. Pour over dry ingredients. 
3. Add dried cranberries and mix until the batter is moistened.
4. Pour batter in a 9x5 inch loaf pan and smooth out. Sprinkle with rolled oats.
5. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 1 hour or until a tooth pick comes out clean.
