In a medium saucepan, combine water and rice. Bring to a boil, then cover, and simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes, or until all water has been absorbed.
Once rice is cooked, add 1 1/2 cups of milk, sugar, and salt. Cook on medium heat for another 15 minutes, stirring frequently so rice does not stick and burn.
To saucepan, add remaining 1/2 cup of milk, beaten egg, and vanilla. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until thick and creamy.
For a long time now I was being very hesitant about having my own food blog. Being a student I did not have the time to take pictures of every meal I cooked and then share my recipes with all the other hungry people on this planet.
