Simple Tomato Sauce


Ingredients

3 tablespoons olive oil
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1-28 oz can diced tomatoes
Some hot pepper flakes, if desired
1/2 cup fresh Italian parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon honey
Dried rosemary and oregano to taste
Salt and pepper

Directions

1. In a medium saucepan, heat olive oil on medium-low heat. Add garlic and cook for about 4 minutes, until tender but not brown.
2. Add tomatoes, hot pepper flakes, honey, parsley, rosemary and oregano. Salt and pepper to taste.
3. Let simmer for about 30 minutes, adjusting seasoning if necessary.
